The audience was convinced that Hjalmar Västerstrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Björklund was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 13th minute F.C Lundbyborg were awarded a corner. Erland Biörling went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Kielberg in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Björklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes of play, F.C Lundbyborg's Krister Kielberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Björklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Filipstad BK's Jimmy Olsmann threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hannes Bennet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hannes Bennet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Filipstad BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hannes Bennet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Västerstrand made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Holmstedt hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Hjalmar Västerstrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filipstad BK's Nils Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Filipstad BK from getting a goal against them. Dorian Félix hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match Erland Biörling sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils Björklund skillfully saved the ball. Jimmy Olsmann came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Filipstad BK's Nicklas Karlberg. But to his dismay, Nicklas Karlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hjalmar Västerstrand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils Björklund came out and tried to block the shot, but Hjalmar Västerstrand slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 82nd minute. Filipstad BK's Nils Björklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Filipstad BK from getting a goal against them. With his leg Nils Björklund managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when F.C Lundbyborg's Krister Kielberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nils Björklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Västerstrand in the 90th minute of the match. Filipstad BK's Nils Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hjalmar Västerstrand in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C Lundbyborg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
