After 15 minutes Filipstad BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Conny Uggla who took care of the corner kick. Nils Björklund was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipstad BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Aðalráður Þórðarson scored to the left of an out of position Nils Björklund, making the score, 4-0. Nils Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Bjurström in the 81st minute of play. Wilhelm Ek took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Björklund. Nils Björklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The Fagersta fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nils Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Uggla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roy Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Lindberg having to interfere. Fagersta's Aðalráður Þórðarson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
