When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Bogren made a kick off. Nils Björklund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as OTAB UA's Frank Mikaelsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nils Björklund. That made the score 1-7 after 71 minutes of play. Nils Björklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Sander in the 78th minute. Arne Andberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Bennet in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Filipstad BK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Mikaelsson came free, but Nils Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipstad BK's Nils Björklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Mikaelsson in the 84th minute of play. After 92 minutes, Avgustin Drangazhov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OTAB UA and the Filipstad BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes OTAB UA got a freekick which was hit by Avgustin Drangazhov. The Filipstad BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. OTAB UA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
