Lars Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AFC Eskilstuna getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ture Valler hit a great ball. Wilhelm Eks short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Lars Blom to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conny Uggla succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 13th playminute. The Fagersta fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Fagersta's Conny Uggla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 19 minutes, Dan Njurenius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Eskilstuna and the Fagersta players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AFC Eskilstuna getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dan Njurenius hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fagersta's Uno Bjurström got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom got control of the ball when Uno Bjurström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dennis Nordgren kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Dan Njurenius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Eskilstuna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom got control of the ball when Jonas Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Wilhelm Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilhelm Ek in the 38th minute. With his leg Lars Blom managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ture Valler hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The long shot by Conny Uggla in the 41st minute really tested Lars Blom's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Ek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lars Blom. Wilhelm Ek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. 46 minutes into the match, AFC Eskilstuna's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Ek came free, but Lars Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Fagersta's Wilhelm Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Blom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilhelm Ek made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, AFC Eskilstuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliot Termander to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Jonas Öberg made a precise shot to the right of Lars Blom. AFC Eskilstuna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Bjurström in the 59th minute of play. When Fagersta's Jonas Öberg in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Eskilstuna's goalie prevented a goal. Lars Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Ek in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Fagersta's Jonas Öberg made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torsten Eckegren made in the 68th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aðalráður Þórðarson immediately put the ball in play. AFC Eskilstuna's Elliot Termander got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Eskilstuna's Lars Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Ek in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Sven-Arne Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Arne Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lars Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Wilhelm Ek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Blom was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Uno Bjurström in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Öberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Eskilstuna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conny Uggla was slow to take the kick. During this time Fagersta's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Fagersta's Conny Uggla to fire away a dangerous shot which Lars Blom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lars Blom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Öberg went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. Fagersta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
