In the 2nd minute Konrad Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boden's goalkeeper Dênis Hoffmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Himna FF's goalkeeper Henning Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th match minute, Boden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Akyüz to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Konrad Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 32 in the game by Mårten Lindberg from a close distance when the talented Dênis Hoffmann managed to make a qualified save. Boden's players were relieved. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bosse Boban was slow to take the kick. During this time Himna FF's players had a chance to rest. Nils-Emil Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Lindberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dênis Hoffmann having to make a save. Henning Nyman came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Boden's Nils-Emil Ros. But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Ros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 43rd minute, Agne Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rutger Lång fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 44th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Emil Ros to make the kick off. Henning Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Björklund in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mårten Lindberg in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dênis Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Boden's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Lindberg came free, but Dênis Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Boden booed when Himna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Tilea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Boden's Rutger Lång tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Nils-Emil Ros could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Henning Nyman however easily saved by the left post. Konrad Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mårten Lindberg in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dênis Hoffmann saved Boden from getting behind. In the 90th minute, Himna FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nils-Emil Ros fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Boden getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ümit Akyüz hit a great ball. Nils-Emil Ros hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiph Arvidsson in the 94th minute of play forced Boden's goalkeeper Dênis Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Himna FF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Boden's performance. The match ended with a win for Boden.
