In the 3rd minute, Gustaf Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hille IF's Zé Paulo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaf Asplund in the 7th minute of play. Hille IF's Fredrik Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laurence Stas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the game, Laurence Stas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hille IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kungarna I Stugan the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Hille IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Bratt to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hille IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ture Bratt hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Johnny Granqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zé Paulo Messias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hille IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Magnus Ahlbom scored to the left of an out of position Zé Paulo Messias, making the score, 1-0. Zé Paulo Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Lindgren in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kungarna I Stugan's Elof Dahlbom got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hille IF's Fredrik Käcker got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Käcker in the 39th minute of play forced Kungarna I Stugan's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Laurence Stas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gianluigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laurence Stas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaf Asplund made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kungarna I Stugan's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Käcker. In the 53rdth minute of the game Gustaf Asplund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hille IF's Zé Paulo Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Kungarna I Stugan were awarded a corner. Johnny Granqvist went to the cornerflag to take it. 63 minutes into the game, Hille IF's Fredrik Käcker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gianluigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Kungarna I Stugan booed when Hille IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Marajda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Kungarna I Stugan's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurence Stas. Zé Paulo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Dahlbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluigi Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Stas's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Gustaf Asplund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Fredrik Käcker sent off a good shot on target. Zé Paulo Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Laurence Stas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fredrik Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hille IF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fredrik Käcker hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Fredrik Käcker made a precise shot to the right of Gianluigi Buffon. Kungarna I Stugan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Zé Paulo Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Asplund in the 95th minute of play. Gianluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurence Stas, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Hille IF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kungarna I Stugan's much stronger midfield.
