Henning Nyman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 22 minutes into the match, Himna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Asplund came free, but Henning Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Gustaf Asplund made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Himna FF's Henning Nyman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaf Asplund in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Himna FF defense, Gustaf Asplund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Nyman. The Himna FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Nyman should have stopped the shot. Gustaf Asplund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Nyman having to interfere. Rickard Bivall hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Elof Dahlbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kungarna I Stugan booed when Himna FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Magnus Ahlbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henning Nyman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th minute, Gustaf Asplund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Kungarna I Stugan were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mårten Lindberg made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 50 minutes, Egon Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kungarna I Stugan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Billström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes, Kungarna I Stugan's Elof Dahlbom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henning Nyman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kungarna I Stugan reached it. Gustaf Asplund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henning Nyman having to make a save. In the 58th minute, Gustaf Asplund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kungarna I Stugan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Kungarna I Stugan's Gustaf Asplund got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kungarna I Stugan's Kenny Vallman got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Carl Lindgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaf Asplund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Henning Nyman made a huge save. Gianluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match was over Kungarna I Stugan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Himna FF throughout the match.
