In the 4th minute of the match Gräskungarnas FF got a corner. Tommarp FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leo Nordin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Leo Nordin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tim Sjöström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Ånger in the 7th minute of play forced Tommarp FK's goalkeeper Tim Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommarp FK's Tim Sjöström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Barbăroșie in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Gräskungarnas FF booed when Tommarp FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Eugen Barbăroșie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Sjöström was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 16 minutes, Eugen Barbăroșie made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tommarp FK's Tim Sjöström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Åman in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tommarp FK's Per-Erik Sillén got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Barbăroșie in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Sjöström saved Tommarp FK from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Björn Holm notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Tommarp FK's Tim Sjöström. Tim Sjöström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tim Sjöström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Barbăroșie, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Gräskungarnas FF's Kuno Friedrich got control of the ball when Per-Erik Sillén tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eugen Barbăroșie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Sjöström having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Barbăroșie to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Tommarp FK got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Sandberg. Tim Sjöström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Nordin in the 52nd minute. Roy Ånger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tim Sjöström made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Barbăroșie in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Sjöström saved Tommarp FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Barbăroșie in the 58th minute of play forced Tommarp FK's goalkeeper Tim Sjöström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tommarp FK defense, Eugen Barbăroșie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Sjöström. The Tommarp FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Sjöström should have stopped the shot. If Roy Ånger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Roy Ånger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gräskungarnas FF's Kuno Friedrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Jelm in the 84th minute of play. Patrick Walroth kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Eugen Barbăroșie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Sjöström was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolf Tunander during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolf Tunander hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Kasper Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gräskungarnas FF played a much better game than Tommarp FK and deserved their victory. The Tommarp FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
