The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kevin Kjellkvist took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Pilla. Angelo Pilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lidman in the 8th minute of play forced HåWe 19 Sk's goalkeeper Lazcano Vidales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Michael Lidman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HåWe 19 Sk's Lazcano Vidales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lidman in the 10th minute of play forced HåWe 19 Sk's goalkeeper Lazcano Vidales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Angelo Pilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lidman in the 13th minute of play forced HåWe 19 Sk's goalkeeper Lazcano Vidales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazcano Vidales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inder De Carolis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ischy Maxbo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Pilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the game, Michael Lidman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lazcano Vidales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. HåWe 19 Sk's Lazcano Vidales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Sörman in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 played minutes HåWe 19 Sk got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Klintæus. In the 25th minute Inder De Carolis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lazcano Vidales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Han Ying Yi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekaryd FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lazcano Vidales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. HåWe 19 Sk's Zé Augusto Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, HåWe 19 Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Lidman came free, but Lazcano Vidales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Han Ying Yi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekaryd FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Han Ying Yi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazcano Vidales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philip Ström lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Ekaryd FF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HåWe 19 Sk:s goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 55thth minute of the game Michael Lidman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HåWe 19 Sk's Lazcano Vidales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute Zé Augusto Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazcano Vidales having to interfere. In the 65th minute Zé Augusto Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Pilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lazcano Vidales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Lidman in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Kevin Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HåWe 19 Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Lidman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lazcano Vidales came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Lidman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 70th minute. Angelo Pilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Rodrigues in the 76th minute of the match. If Kevin Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
