Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5757, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) Lars-Erik Hägglund made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Oliver Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Pihl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Pilla having to interfere. Erland Hjeltman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Han Ying Yi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Ekaryd FF's Lars-Erik Hägglund threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oliver Lindgren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 40th minute, Inder De Carolis had to leave the field with a concussion. Manfred Rosendahl's late challenge caught a Ekaryd FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Rosendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Manfred Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ekaryd FF's Johnny Lundberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erland Hjeltman in the 45 minute of the game. Oliver Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lars-Erik Hägglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michael Lidman to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Rooster Football Academy got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Fredriksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Ekeroth in the 68th minute of play forced Ekaryd FF's goalkeeper Angelo Pilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Rooster Football Academy got a corner. Ekaryd FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonas Pihl ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jonas Pihl got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Angelo Pilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Claes Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Angelo Pilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fred Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars-Erik Hägglund came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ekaryd FF's Oliver Lindgren. But to his dismay, Oliver Lindgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Yngve Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Hägglund having to interfere. Lars-Erik Hägglund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yngve Ek went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Ekaryd FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
