The audience thought a goal was coming when Jago Ballesteros got free with Tim Sjöström in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Peter Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th play minute Jago Ballesteros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tim Sjöström. 2-1. Tim Sjöström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sajeev Rajah in the 44th minute of play. Tim Sjöström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sajeev Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Jago Ballesteros put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Sjöström. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jago Ballesteros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Peter Jelm could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Wilhelm Säv however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute Daniel Wickander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Sjöström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sundens BK fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Sundens BK's Jago Ballesteros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tim Sjöström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sajeev Rajah in the 67th minute of the match.
