Marcus Bolander hit a great ball. Jan-Ove Lindmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars-Erik Hägglund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Wickander came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lars-Erik Hägglund could save by the left post. After 43 played minutes Rooster Football Academy got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Fredriksson. In the 45thth minute of the game Jago Ballesteros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rooster Football Academy's Lars-Erik Hägglund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Ove Lindmark to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Waller was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Rooster Football Academy defense, Albert Gernberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lars-Erik Hägglund. The Rooster Football Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lars-Erik Hägglund should have stopped the shot. Lars-Erik Hägglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jonas Pihl's late challenge caught a Sundens BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Hugo Waller made a precise shot to the right of Wilhelm Säv. Sundens BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sundens BK's zone, Hugo Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Säv came out of the goal and Hugo Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilhelm Säv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Pihl in the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Rooster Football Academy's Jonas Pihl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilhelm Säv made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Rooster Football Academy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rooster Football Academy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
