Björn Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 minutes of play, Gräskungarnas FF's Eugen Barbăroșie made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Pilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Ekaryd FF's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Holm came free, but Angelo Pilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gräskungarnas FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leo Nordin in the 16th minute. Roy Ånger was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Angelo Pilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Barbăroșie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Pilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Barbăroșie, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Roy Ånger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Gräskungarnas FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eugen Barbăroșie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Pilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Leo Nordin made a great header on Gräskungarnas FF's corner, it was just that Ekaryd FF's Angelo Pilla managed to reach the ball for a save. Leo Nordin's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Angelo Pilla on his right side and into the goal. 45 minutes into the game it was 2-0. Angelo Pilla came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Gräskungarnas FF's Roy Ånger. But to his dismay, Roy Ånger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

Michael Lidman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Eugen Barbăroșie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekaryd FF's Angelo Pilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björn Holm might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Pilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Björn Holm ran back to his position shaking his head. Michael Lidman hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, Eugen Barbăroșie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Angelo Pilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Gräskungarnas FF's Michael Jonsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Angelo Pilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Barbăroșie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekaryd FF's Angelo Pilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Barbăroșie in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Barbăroșie in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Pilla saved Ekaryd FF from getting behind. After 94 played minutes Gräskungarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Michael Jonsson. There was no doubt that Gräskungarnas FF were the better team. Gräskungarnas FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
