Kurt Bivall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Vitå getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alfred Boberg hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Jonathan Andersson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vitå's Kurt Bivall. Kurt Bivall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Vidman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vitå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orion BK the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Vitå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Vidman to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Jonathan Andersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Kurt Bivall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Orion BK fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Orion BK's Jan-Olof Asklöv looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Jonathan Andersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Bivall having to interfere. Orion BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kurt Bivall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jan-Olof Asklöv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Samuelsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
