Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) Fabian Fågel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Vitå getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Kjell Berg hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Fabian Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Bivall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Brask sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vitå getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Olov Klint hit a great ball. Tranås BF's Sten Brask got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fred Samuelsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Vitå's Alfred Boberg suffered a sprained foot after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 36 minutes into the game, Sven Colin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tranås BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vitå the free kick. Vitå made a substitution. Hans Boberg replaced Alfred Boberg. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Vidman to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Vitå got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Hermansson. 59 minutes into the match, Sten Brask notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vitå's Kurt Bivall. Kurt Bivall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Jonatan Hermansson came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Vitå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Hermansson couldn't finish the play. Ove Clementsson made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Torgny Bergfelt. Torgny Bergfelt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kurt Bivall came out and tried to block the shot, but Torgny Bergfelt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 67th minute. Vitå's Kurt Bivall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vitå from getting a goal against them. If Sten Brask had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vitå's zone, Sten Brask stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Bivall came out of the goal and Sten Brask tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Sundén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Lindmark in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes Tranås BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonatan Hermansson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Vitå's Jonatan Hermansson to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristian Sundén despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Vitå fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tranås BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
