Jens-Erik Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Christiansen in the 20th minute of play. In the 22ndth minute of the game Mugur Bejenaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DSK Dalir's Jens-Erik Forsberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ekedalen SK's Mugur Bejenaru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jens-Erik Forsberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ekedalen SK were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after DSK Dalir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anders Christiansen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ekedalen SK's corner Anders Christiansen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jens-Erik Forsberg quite easily take care of the ball. Mugur Bejenaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Erik Forsberg having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Egil Åhman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Emil Lidström's late challenge caught a Ekedalen SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emil Lidström helped the player get up and apologised. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gösta Dahlqvist made the kick off in the second half. If Anders Christiansen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Nyström in the 57th minute of play forced DSK Dalir's goalkeeper Jens-Erik Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Egil Åhman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Erik Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mugur Bejenaru came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Ekedalen SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mugur Bejenaru couldn't finish the play. During the 66th minute of the match Emil Lidström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emil Lidström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 66th minute, one of DSK Dalir:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DSK Dalir. Jens-Erik Forsberg had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Anders Christiansen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 72nd minute, Mugur Bejenaru made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Erik Forsberg. DSK Dalir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Mugur Bejenaru kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ekedalen SK booed when DSK Dalir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball.
