Claes Carlsson hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abcdefghijklmno Taofeek Salami in the 12th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pajala Sunrise's Axel Ros got control of the ball when Bernt Vennerkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Ros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Vennerkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Axel Ros made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernt Vennerkvist sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Pajala Sunrise's Per-Arne Svartengren got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Vennerkvist came free, but Axel Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Welle in the 47th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Edgar Ström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hisingen IK made a substitution. Stig Säf replaced Ludwig Smedfeldt. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernt Vennerkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Walter Tinglöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from SK Au in the 58th minute of the match. Axel Ros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Axel Ros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Säf went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Pajala Sunrise defense, Bernt Vennerkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Ros. The Pajala Sunrise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Ros should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig Säf in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axel Ros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Ros came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Hisingen IK's Bernt Vennerkvist. But to his dismay, Bernt Vennerkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 93rd minute Bernt Vennerkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Bernt Vennerkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axel Ros. Pajala Sunrise's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Vennerkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. There was no doubt that Hisingen IK were the better team. Hisingen IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
