Yttran United's Mattias Ersman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Vennerkvist in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute, Victorio Silvanito made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Ström. Hisingen IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th minute, Casper Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Silvanito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Edgar Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernt Vennerkvist got free with Mattias Ersman in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Ström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Oswaldo Salmanton made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Ström. Hisingen IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Yttran United's goalkeeper Mattias Ersman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Vennerkvist. Mattias Gabrielsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Hisingen IK's Edgar Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Salmanton in the 29th minute of play. Mattias Ersman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernt Vennerkvist in the 34th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yttran United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mattias Gabrielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Hisingen IK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hisingen IK's Mattias Gabrielsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Mattias Ersman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bernt Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hisingen IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Vennerkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Ersman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenny Ekegren's late challenge caught a Hisingen IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Ekegren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Kenny Ekegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Yttran United were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Oswaldo Salmanton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Ström. That made the score 0-3 in the 55 minute of play. Bernt Vennerkvist scored 1-3 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mattias Ersman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 minutes of play, Hisingen IK's Bernt Vennerkvist made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Ersman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Ström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Ian Wright made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Ström. Hisingen IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. 73 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Salmanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Ström. Hisingen IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Salmanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. 77 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Salmanton came free, but Edgar Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Wester to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Kenny Ekegren from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Edgar Ström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edgar Ström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oswaldo Salmanton in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Yttran United's Victorio Silvanito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Ström. That made the score 2-6 after 88 minutes of play. In the 91st match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Söderqwist to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Hedlund got free with Edgar Ström in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Yttran United left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hisingen IK.
