The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Venga Boys got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Haeger. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venga Boys's goalkeeper Joseph Joensson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joseph Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ola Sjöström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, Venga Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Sandell to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Sigfridsson in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joseph Joensson saved Venga Boys from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Venga Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Beckström to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Solberga's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Sandström came free, but Jerry Sandström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venga Boys's zone, Brian Sjögren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Joensson came out of the goal and Brian Sjögren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Venga Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Vallgren came free, but Joseph Joensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jerry Sandström made a huge save. Joseph Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Vallgren in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Vallgren in the 44th minute of play forced Venga Boys's goalkeeper Joseph Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Venga Boys's Jerry Sandström threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Michel Sandström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Sandström made a kick off. Valdemar Sigfridsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Håkan Beckström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venga Boys's Michel Sandström got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venga Boys! The referee gave Solberga a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Johan Vallgren, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venga Boys's Joseph Joensson. 0-1. Joseph Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Vallgren in the 70th minute of the match. Karl-Johan Vallgren hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Joseph Joensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Vallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Valdemar Sigfridsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joseph Joensson. The goal made the score 0-3. Michel Sandström's late challenge caught a Solberga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Sandström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Michel Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venga Boys's Joseph Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Vallgren in the 97th minute of play. After having played for 99 minutes, Karl-Johan Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Johan Vallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Solberga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
