An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gustav Ahlrot took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Martin Alebeck to make any attempt to save it. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Martin Alebeck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Nilsson got free with Martin Alebeck in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Arvidsson in the 19th minute of play forced Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Alexander Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgården IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Djurgården IF's Alexander Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Alebeck. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanek Budzyn in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sven-Edvin Lindkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Djurgården IF's Gustav Ahlrot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Alebeck. That made the score 5-0 after 35 minutes of play. The supporters of Djurgården IF booed when Gudskrigare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanek Budzyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Djurgården IF defense, Tanek Budzyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Du Chong Le. The Djurgården IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Du Chong Le should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Nilsson made a kick off. Gudskrigare's Martin Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 51st minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Djurgården IF's Gustav Ahlrot nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Alebeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Du Chong Le made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Oskar Öberg in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute Tanek Budzyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Djurgården IF fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Djurgården IF's Sven-Edvin Lindkvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Gudskrigare's Ludwig Rudkvist got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's Arvin Ljungberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Lindkvist notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Gudskrigare's Martin Alebeck. Martin Alebeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 76th minute of play forced Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Alebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Gudskrigare's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Ahlrot came free, but Martin Alebeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Dinnes in the 79th minute of play forced Gudskrigare's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Nilsson in the 80th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Gudskrigare's Du Chong Le threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tanek Budzyn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karl-Oskar Öberg hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, Gudskrigare's Wim Roorda made it 8-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Du Chong Le was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Djurgården IF fully deserved thier win.
