Ingvar Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ingvar Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Siwek, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ingvar Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sven-Edvin Lindkvist sped through Edsbyns IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ingvar Norberg. Edsbyns IF's Ingvar Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Siwek in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Nilsson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingvar Norberg saved Edsbyns IF from getting behind. Ingvar Norberg came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården IF's Gustav Ahlrot. But to his dismay, Gustav Ahlrot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Ingvar Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Ahlrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Ingvar Norberg came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Djurgården IF's Torgny Arvidsson. But to his dismay, Torgny Arvidsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Edsbyns IF's Ingvar Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Siwek in the 41st minute of play. Djurgården IF's Alexander Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Tommy Treager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edsbyns IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Djurgården IF the free kick. After 47 played minutes Edsbyns IF got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Treager. In the 48th minute of the match Arvin Ljungberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingvar Norberg skillfully saved the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Nilsson made a kick off. In the 56th minute Ivo Van Houdtvinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edsbyns IF's Ingvar Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexander Nilsson got free with Ingvar Norberg in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Gustav Ahlrot made a precise shot to the right of Ingvar Norberg. Edsbyns IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Gustav Ahlrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edsbyns IF's Evert Haegg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eric Dinnes, made in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th play minute Alexander Nilsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ingvar Norberg. 0-7. Alexander Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Djurgården IF's Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edsbyns IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 82nd minute Alexander Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Mikolaj Siwek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Djurgården IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Edsbyns IF's Ronaldinho De Assis Moreira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mikolaj Siwek, made in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of Edsbyns IF booed when Djurgården IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Siwek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Djurgården IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
