With a little luck, Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin got control of the ball when Jan Ekenberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jan Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Simon Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Ekenberg in the 28th minute of play. A hard shot by Tom Eriksson from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Simon Sjödin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Anselius to maneuver through the defense. Mean Machine made a substitution. Robin Hultstrand replaced Jan Ekenberg. After a rather tough play, Furuvik IK's Gabriel Giöck got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Henry Alebäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simon Sjödin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Arkadiusz Fujara hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Furuvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Alebäck came free, but Simon Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Torsten Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Torsten Berglund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mean Machine booed when Furuvik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Fujara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Henry Alebäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mean Machine's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Alebäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Lars Frykberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. Casper Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Sjödin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henry Alebäck went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Simon Sjödin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Berglund in the 85th minute of play. Carl Eriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Henry Alebäck notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Furuvik IK's Simon Sjödin. Simon Sjödin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mean Machine could leave the field as winners, despite Furuvik IK having more of the ball for most of the match.
