The Lokomotiv Julita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Joensson should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Kura Shetakan's Kong Yuan Sha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gunnar Joensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gunnar Joensson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kura Shetakan's Alvin Vestlund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 18th match minute, Lokomotiv Julita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Enström to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliott Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gunnar Joensson came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Kura Shetakan's Olov Örtlund. But to his dismay, Olov Örtlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Kura Shetakan:s Gordon Banks showed great skill when he stopped Conny Smefeldt:s penalty. Gordon Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Enström in the 33rd minute of play. Lokomotiv Julita's Gunnar Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Vestlund in the 35th minute of play. Svante Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Banks having to interfere. Kong Yuan Sha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Joensson having to interfere. In the 48th minute Alvin Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kong Yuan Sha was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Lokomotiv Julita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Enström to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, one of Kura Shetakan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 62 minutes into the game, Song Shu Zhen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kura Shetakan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Julita the free kick. A collision led to Kura Shetakan getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Song Shu Zhen hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Elliott Hjeltman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Song Shu Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Åke Alfors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Julita's supporters rose to their feet, but Åke Alfors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gordon Banks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's goal looked a bit too open when Olov Örtlund came free, but Gunnar Joensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Song Shu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvin Vestlund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Joensson. That made the score 1-7 in the 81 minute of play. Olov Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gunnar Joensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Olov Örtlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gunnar Joensson. Olov Örtlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. If Song Shu Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Örtlund in the 91st minute of play forced Lokomotiv Julita's goalkeeper Gunnar Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olov Örtlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gunnar Joensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
