With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Billock in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilkka Markkula saved Lunna IF from getting behind. In the 17th minute Bennvar Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Lunna IF booed when Hovås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Blanck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Håland in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes Lunna IF got a freekick which was hit by Guðberg Gudberg. If Greger Tönnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilkka Markkula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Tönnberg in the 21st minute of the match. Lunna IF's Ilkka Markkula played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Ivarsson in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Bennvar Håland took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sonny Vollander to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Stefan Ivarsson put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ilkka Markkula. 37 minutes into the match, Erik Billock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilkka Markkula. Lunna IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Billock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 40th minute, Romelio Peña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Hovås were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 范志毅 Yabo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bennvar Håland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Tobias Hysén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hovås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunna IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hovås's Stefan Ivarsson got a free kick in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hovås walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
