After 4 minutes IFK United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Folke Lövgren who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Timmernabben FF's corner Folke Lövgren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benjamin Smed quite easily take care of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goalkeeper Tomás Guillen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agne Hake. After a rather tough play, Timmernabben FF's Sylwester Panikowski got a free kick in the 7th minute. Arnulfo Lugo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Benjamin Smed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timmernabben FF. Nicklas Dalgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Smed having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Junior in the 17th minute of play forced IFK United's goalkeeper Benjamin Smed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, IFK United's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Junior came free, but Benjamin Smed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Timmernabben FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Dalgren to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Sakarias Stephansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Smed was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Agne Hake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnulfo Lugo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Timmernabben FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Lugo couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Arnulfo Lugo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Smed was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The IFK United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Timmernabben FF were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnny Skark was the one to do the kick off. Benjamin Smed made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Sakarias Stephansson sent off a good shot on target. Kaká Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
