Emil Jespersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rickard Ahlgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Jespersson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Kalle Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Emil Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Ahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Gernberg having to interfere. Roy Gernberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Oskar Björklund's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Jens-Erik Molin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Rickard Ahlgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 19 played minutes Yxhult got a freekick which was hit by Patric Deckberg. Jens-Erik Molin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rickard Ahlgren made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Jens-Erik Molin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yxhult's Rickard Ahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Yxhult from getting a goal against them. When Team Swestapool's Jens-Erik Molin in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rickard Ahlgren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of Yxhult booed when Team Swestapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Lövkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38th play minutes Magne Forssberg shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Roy Gernberg and just under the crossbar into goal. Roy Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magne Forssberg in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Yxhult getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sigvard Örtendal hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jens-Erik Molin was the one to do the kick off. Jens-Erik Molin took the ball and in the 50 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Ahlgren. Rickard Ahlgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Yxhult's zone, Hannes Häger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rickard Ahlgren came out of the goal and Hannes Häger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Yxhult's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Molin came free, but Rickard Ahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jens-Erik Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Ahlgren having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Hannes Häger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Rickard Ahlgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Team Swestapool got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Nyberg. 67 minutes into the match, Yxhult's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Jespersson came free, but Rickard Ahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Njurenius charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Njurenius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Karl-Oskar Björklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yxhult's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Oskar Björklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roy Gernberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Rickard Lövkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Jespersson in the 87th minute of play forced Yxhult's goalkeeper Rickard Ahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Lövkvist hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Karl-Oskar Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Gernberg having to interfere. Emil Jespersson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Ahlgren.
