Karl-Axel Jonsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roy Gernberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Axel Jonsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radoy Gilev in the 5th minute of play forced Team Swestapool's goalkeeper Roy Gernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Team Swestapool got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Lövkvist. In the 7th match minute, Kårböle IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Harlén to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Team Swestapool's Gert Vestberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Ball Glue despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedro Chafes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kårböle IFK's goalkeeper Ball Glue, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute of the match, Hannes Häger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ball Glue saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, one of Kårböle IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kårböle IFK. Ball Glue had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Gert Vestberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Team Swestapool's Gert Vestberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ball Glue in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute of the match Team Swestapool got a corner. Kårböle IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gert Vestberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jens-Erik Molin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ball Glue made a huge save. Jens-Erik Molin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ball Glue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Swestapool. 33 minutes into the match, Team Swestapool's goal looked a bit too open when Radoy Gilev came free, but Roy Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Häger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Chafes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Allan Thidén kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Gunnar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The supporters of Team Swestapool booed when Kårböle IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Kalfhage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ball Glue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Häger, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After taking down the ball on Team Swestapool's corner Gert Vestberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ball Glue quite easily take care of the ball. Emil Jespersson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Kårböle IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Jansson to maneuver through the defense. Roy Gernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Axel Jonsson in the 67th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Swestapool fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Roy Gernberg, was totally fooled by Kårböle IFK's Gunnar Jansson, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 75 minutes into the game, Radoy Gilev recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roy Gernberg. Radoy Gilev showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 77 played minutes Kårböle IFK got a freekick which was hit by Radoy Gilev. 82 minutes into the match, Kårböle IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Häger came free, but Ball Glue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Karl-Axel Jonsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Swestapool's Roy Gernberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karl-Axel Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Rickard Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tage Kalfhage kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Team Swestapool getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jens-Erik Molin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Team Swestapool's Birger Bergfeldt got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute Karl-Axel Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Gernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
