Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aljoša Čurina started the match with the kick off. Jure Broz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Belimir Katunarić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaspar Nemvalts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 14th minute, Jure Broz made a precise shot to the right of Sten Vidman. Blåränderna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Blåränderna getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kim Smed hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Jusufović in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Vidman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belimir Katunarić in the 22nd minute of play forced Blåränderna's goalkeeper Sten Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Aljoša Čurina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK VRBAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sten Vidman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Jusufović's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. If Jure Broz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jure Broz took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Vidman. Sten Vidman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Sten Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jure Broz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Mustafa Jusufović managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK VRBAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Jusufović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Vidman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaspar Nemvalts struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sten Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK VRBAS. Belimir Katunarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Vidman having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rolf Apelquist made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Mustafa Jusufović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Vidman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belimir Katunarić got free with Sten Vidman in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK VRBAS made a substitution. Ove Klemensson replaced Mustafa Jusufović. When Belimir Katunarić came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FK VRBAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belimir Katunarić couldn't finish the play. Ove Klemensson in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sten Vidman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Börje Sandberg charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Börje Sandberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Börje Sandberg hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Ove Klemensson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Vidman. The goal made the score 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aljoša Čurina in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sten Vidman saved Blåränderna from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Klemensson got free with Sten Vidman in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ove Klemensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, FK VRBAS's Sten Vidman threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aljoša Čurina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sten Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jure Broz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaspar Nemvalts in the 90th minute of play forced Blåränderna's goalkeeper Sten Vidman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aljoša Čurina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sten Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aljoša Čurina in the 94th minute of play. Börje Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Belimir Katunarić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK VRBAS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
