The referee ignored Team Figo's protests and gave Kenneth Stålberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Team Figo got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Stålberg. 12 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Abreu came free, but Quirze Acha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Team Figo booed when SS Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Bryngelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, SS Palestra Italia's Adrian Bryngelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duarte Abreu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quirze Acha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Team Figo getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Allan Burman hit a great ball. Vilgot Haegg took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quirze Acha. Quirze Acha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Team Figo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SS Palestra Italia were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Bratt to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Roger Bratt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Caspersson was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Emil Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Quirze Acha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Team Figo's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Hansson came free, but Quirze Acha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SS Palestra Italia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
