When Tom Gabrielsson fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK United's protests and gave Tom Gabrielsson a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 minutes of play, IFK United's Agne Hake made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickard Ahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 13 minutes, Vilhelm Thidén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK United and the Yxhult players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vilhelm Thidén hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, IFK United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Skark to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Skark in the 18th minute of play forced Yxhult's goalkeeper Rickard Ahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Smed showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magne Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Johnny Skark might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rickard Ahlgren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnny Skark ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Yxhult's Rickard Ahlgren got control of the ball when Torbjörn Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rickard Ahlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agne Hake went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute Vilhelm Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Ahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Ahlgren made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Agne Hake sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yxhult's goalkeeper Rickard Ahlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcus Vedholm kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match.

The wind increased when Magne Forssberg made the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Smed made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Blom in the 52nd minute. Agne Hake took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Ahlgren. Rickard Ahlgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Rickard Ahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Hake in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Magne Forssberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yxhult's supporters rose to their feet, but Magne Forssberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Smed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The IFK United fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when IFK United's Johnny Skark looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rickard Ahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Thidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agne Hake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Ahlgren having to interfere. Daniel Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Magne Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Smed having to interfere. IFK United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Yxhult for a fine match.
