Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) 5 minutes into the game, Aljoša Čurina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Michael Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aljoša Čurina scored 0-3 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Johansson came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FK VRBAS's Aljoša Čurina. But to his dismay, Aljoša Čurina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 20th minute, Mustafa Jusufović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. In the 25th minute Mustafa Jusufović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Jusufović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Johansson having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Belimir Katunarić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK VRBAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belimir Katunarić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aljoša Čurina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. IF Karlstad Fotboll's Michael Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Jusufović in the 40th minute of play. Mustafa Jusufović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Mustafa Jusufović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The IF Karlstad Fotboll players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FK VRBAS were winning 0-9.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joar Forssell made a kick off. Michael Johansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aljoša Čurina in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FK VRBAS's Kaspar Nemvalts got a free kick in the 64th minute. FK VRBAS made a substitution. Ove Klemensson replaced Mustafa Jusufović. A collision led to FK VRBAS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Kaspar Nemvalts hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Aljoša Čurina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ove Klemensson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Michael Johansson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aljoša Čurina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Johansson having to interfere. In the 81st minute Aljoša Čurina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FK VRBAS booed when IF Karlstad Fotboll was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Aljoša Čurina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Klemensson struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Michael Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK VRBAS. Michael Johansson was a little too slow when Aljoša Čurina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-12. Ove Klemensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Johansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ove Klemensson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes IF Karlstad Fotboll got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Ek. When Bo Bruhn came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FK VRBAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Bruhn couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Klemensson got free with Michael Johansson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
