The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Duarte Abreu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Smed when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilgot Haegg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamin Smed. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Benjamin Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Abreu in the 20th minute of play. Emil Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Skark in the 21st minute of play. Emil Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, SS Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Galip İlgi to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, IFK United's Hao Xu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Börje Kvick kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Benjamin Smed made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Duarte Abreu sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute Agne Hake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Duarte Abreu made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of IFK United booed when SS Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vendel Baráth didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, SS Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Johnny Skark came free, but Emil Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Smed made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a little luck, SS Palestra Italia's Emil Caspersson got control of the ball when Börje Kvick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adrian Bryngelsson scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Smed, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
