After a defensive mix-up in FK Scuderia Ferrari's zone, Adrian Bryngelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Pinhal came out of the goal and Adrian Bryngelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emil Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Häger in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FK Scuderia Ferrari's zone, Duarte Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Pinhal came out of the goal and Duarte Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Abreu in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eliseu Pinhal saved FK Scuderia Ferrari from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Duarte Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Scuderia Ferrari's Eliseu Pinhal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The SS Palestra Italia fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when SS Palestra Italia's Duarte Abreu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Abreu in the 43rd minute of play forced FK Scuderia Ferrari's goalkeeper Eliseu Pinhal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Scuderia Ferrari's Eliseu Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duarte Abreu in the 44th minute of play. Eliseu Pinhal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Abreu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Duarte Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Pinhal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FK Scuderia Ferrari's Per-Arne Lundqvist got a free kick in the 53rd minute. FK Scuderia Ferrari were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after SS Palestra Italia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jarl Häger took the corner. After taking down the ball on FK Scuderia Ferrari's corner Abelardo Damião fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emil Caspersson quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Duarte Abreu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseu Pinhal was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. SS Palestra Italia made a substitution. Sakarias Carlsson replaced Maximilian Moberg. Vilgot Haegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eliseu Pinhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
