Daniel Hök showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Enström in the 7th minute of the match. The GreenSkar FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when GreenSkar FC's Jan-Ove Hansson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jan-Ove Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. GreenSkar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Ove Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Hök breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, GreenSkar FC's Kennet Kristiansson got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Jan-Olof Finsberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Gamza skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Daniel Hök, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Hansson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Hammarby IF's Daniel Hök. Daniel Hök was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Perssons short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Daniel Hök to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, Jan-Ove Hansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Hök came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Hansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Videl Pando charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Videl Pando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hammarby IF getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Videl Pando hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Kent Ivarsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Hök skillfully saved the ball. Iwan Gamza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okoli Okiche, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jan-Ove Hansson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 38th minute. GreenSkar FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 44th minute, GreenSkar FC's Carl Enström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Hök. Daniel Hök yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Okoli Okiche to strike the kick off in the second half. If Fred Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Iwan Gamza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Carl Enström kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Daniel Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niklas Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Hansson in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Hök saved Hammarby IF from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Ove Hansson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Hök prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Hammarby IF's Iwan Gamza threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Okoli Okiche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 77 minutes, Jan-Olof Finsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarby IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Olof Finsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, GreenSkar FC's Niklas Hedlund got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okoli Okiche in the 80th minute of play forced GreenSkar FC's goalkeeper Iwan Gamza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Persson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, GreenSkar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Svanström came free, but Iwan Gamza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Hammarby IF got a freekick which was hit by Han Van Aken. Kent Ivarsson struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Daniel Hök didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GreenSkar FC. 92 minutes into the match, Jan-Ove Hansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Hök. Hammarby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan-Ove Hansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
