Linus Flink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Linus Flink reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hubert Lindgren. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Kvarnby IK's Sixten Wickander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hubert Lindgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 15th play minute Gösta Nilsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hubert Lindgren. 3-0. In the 19th minute, Gösta Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 21 in the game by Sixten Wickander from a close distance when the talented Hubert Lindgren managed to make a qualified save. Landskrona United FC's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute, Gösta Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvarnby IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Sander in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hubert Lindgren saved Landskrona United FC from getting behind. Landskrona United FC's players were relieved. 30 minutes into the match, Kvarnby IK's Jonas Sander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hubert Lindgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonas Sander showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. If Gösta Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lindgren having to interfere. Gösta Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Hubert Lindgren made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Jarl Pihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarl Pihlberg was the one to do the kick off. Hubert Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Sander, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Linus Flink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kvarnby IK's Iwo Szotek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Pihlberg in the 57th minute of play. Gösta Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Lindgren having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Jonas Sander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The tension between the Landskrona United FC and the Kvarnby IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 85 minutes, Linus Flink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvarnby IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Flink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Kvarnby IK's Sixten Wickander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gösta Nilsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hubert Lindgren having to make a save. Hubert Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Linus Flink came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Kvarnby IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Flink couldn't finish the play.
