The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Niklas Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Emil Andberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman. Blomstermåla IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Andberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla IF's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Björkman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Benet. In the 15th match minute, Blomstermåla IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Sandberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Emil Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Björkman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Trulsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Emil Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Söderquist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Stig-Arne Björkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Andberg's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Stig-Arne Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Benet took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Arne Björkman. Stig-Arne Björkman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 39 minutes of play, Orten Boys's Per Benet made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Arne Björkman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Andberg took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Arne Björkman. Stig-Arne Björkman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Jens-Åke Lindblom hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Jens-Ola Sandström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Arne Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Arne Björkman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Benet's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Agne Fogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orten Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Fogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Emil Andberg made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman. Blomstermåla IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Per Benet scored 7-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla IF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Benet came free, but Stig-Arne Björkman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Blomstermåla IF defense, Agne Fogel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman. The Blomstermåla IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Arne Björkman should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Emil Andberg made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman. Blomstermåla IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After having played for 84 minutes, Emil Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malcolm Pålsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Stig-Arne Björkman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blomstermåla IF's Stig-Arne Björkman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Andberg in the 90th minute of play. Stig-Arne Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Andberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Orten Boys players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
