The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stellan Wallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Edwin Malm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, Lyckeby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Skoglund to maneuver through the defense. John Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Malm having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, John Engman put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edwin Malm. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Hök hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Lyckeby United got a freekick which was hit by Stellan Wallander. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lyckeby United had played much better football throughout.
