A collision led to Blomstermåla IF getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Michael Söderström hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Kenneth Kamel made a precise shot to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman. Blomstermåla IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience was convinced that Edgard Bermudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Arne Björkman was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The supporters of FK Ekebo booed when Blomstermåla IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Arne Björkman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Grubb in the 35th minute of the match. Stig Grubb scored 0-6 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig-Arne Björkman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stig-Arne Björkman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44thth minute of the game Edgard Bermudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blomstermåla IF's Stig-Arne Björkman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes of play, FK Ekebo's Stig Grubb made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Arne Björkman was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Ström made a kick off. Emanuele Fioriti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Söderström in the 53rd minute of play. Stig-Arne Björkman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Lööf, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the game, FK Ekebo's Stig Grubb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig-Arne Björkman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. FK Ekebo made a substitution. German Nafarroa replaced Kenneth Kamel. The supporters of FK Ekebo booed when Blomstermåla IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Söderquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Blomstermåla IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after German Nafarroa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Blomstermåla IF's Stig-Arne Björkman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Blomstermåla IF from getting a goal against them. Stig Grubb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tim Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Björkman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Lars Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Ekebo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stig-Arne Björkman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, FK Ekebo's Nestor Baraquiel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stig-Arne Björkman. Stig-Arne Björkman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. With a little luck, Blomstermåla IF's Stig-Arne Björkman got control of the ball when German Nafarroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stig Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded FK Ekebo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Blomstermåla IF.
