FC ARDA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Svenska Lejon BK the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, FC ARDA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Ghercioiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ARDA's goalkeeper Jan Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 3rd minute, Mark Stenström made a precise shot to the right of Jan Larsson. FC ARDA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Jan Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jason Nys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svenska Lejon BK's Folke Malmström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute Nemesio Isusko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC ARDA fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FC ARDA's Manole Coraș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jason Nys fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ARDA's protests and gave Jason Nys a yellow card for diving instead. Jason Nys kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Mark Stenström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mark Stenström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Larsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Jan Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Stenström in the 41st minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Coraș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Nicu Geantă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Svenska Lejon BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joacim Johansson hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Jason Nys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Svenska Lejon BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Nys came free, but Folke Malmström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Stenström in the 61st minute of play forced FC ARDA's goalkeeper Jan Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Stenström in the 66th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Krister Säf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Larsson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC ARDA's Jan Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Isusko in the 76th minute of play. Jason Nys kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, FC ARDA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Coraș to maneuver through the defense. FC ARDA's Karl-Erik Berggren was substituted for Vilhelm Ekerot. In the 82nd match minute, FC ARDA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Coraș to maneuver through the defense. Mark Stenström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jason Nys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Stenström in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nemesio Isusko scored 3-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Larsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Isusko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan Larsson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game.
