The audience was convinced that Bo Grönberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kevin Ellegaard was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tang Hao Wei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 82 played minutes FC Houten Klompen got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Bernal. Kevin Ellegaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tang Hao Wei in the 83rd minute of play. Nicklas Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Bergstedt in the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes AIK Spiceboys got a freekick which was hit by Zamzam Zunzunegui. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingemar Löfgren got free with Nicklas Matsson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Houten Klompen's Kevin Ellegaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Grönberg in the 90th minute of play. AIK Spiceboys were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after FC Houten Klompen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tang Hao Wei took the corner. Tang Hao Wei made a great header on AIK Spiceboys's corner, it was just that FC Houten Klompen's Kevin Ellegaard managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Bergstedt in the 93rd minute of play forced AIK Spiceboys's goalkeeper Nicklas Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Houten Klompen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
