Leif Hammarbäck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lunden City's Emanuel Salqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingemar Bergfeldt in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Ingemar Bergfeldt made a precise shot to the right of Emanuel Salqvist. Lunden City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vimmerby's goalkeeper Lázaro Lorencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingemar Bergfeldt made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Godholm in the 57th minute of play forced Vimmerby's goalkeeper Lázaro Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Edmund Broman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lunden City's Emanuel Salqvist did a great save. Lunden City's players were relieved. 72 minutes into the match, Ingemar Bergfeldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emanuel Salqvist, 1-3. 朱棋俊 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Salqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Lunden City's Sivert Wennerlund got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, 朱棋俊 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vimmerby's supporters rose to their feet, but 朱棋俊 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Salqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingemar Bergfeldt's late challenge caught a Lunden City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingemar Bergfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Vimmerby got a freekick which was hit by Ingemar Bergfeldt. Lázaro Lorencio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Godholm's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Godholm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lunden City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vimmerby the free kick. With his leg Emanuel Salqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Vimmerby's 朱棋俊 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When 朱棋俊, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Emanuel Salqvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vimmerby walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
