The Borrby RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvise Ascoli should have stopped the shot. Anthon Nordin took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvise Ascoli. Alvise Ascoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 29 minutes into the match, Borrby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Anthon Nordin came free, but Alvise Ascoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthon Nordin in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvise Ascoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th match minute, Borrby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Ekström to maneuver through the defense. Borrby RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthon Nordin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie Méthot in the 94th minute of play forced Borrby RK's goalkeeper Alvise Ascoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
