Thomas Broman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alfred Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Thomas Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Stål fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvise Ascoli having to interfere. Borrby RK's Karl-Ove Ambjörnsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ernst Gulliksson, made in the 18th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Kruuse in the 24th minute of play forced Majorna BK's goalkeeper Thomas Broman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Alfred Lidström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borrby RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Borrby RK's Alvise Ascoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Nyqvist in the 32nd minute of play. Karl-Ove Ambjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Thomas Broman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borrby RK. Thomas Broman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alvise Ascoli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Burman went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Thomas Broman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Lidström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Borrby RK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee showed Lars Kruuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Borrby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Broman made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alfred Lidström sent off a good shot on target. Borrby RK's Alvise Ascoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonny Nyqvist in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Majorna BK's Andreas Burman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvise Ascoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Majorna BK's Thomas Broman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Majorna BK from getting a goal against them. Jesus Clementi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Broman having to interfere.
