With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 11 minutes, Simon Courtemanche made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Sydkoster's Gösta Ekegren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute of the match, Simon Courtemanche got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gösta Ekegren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Gösta Ekegren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Galactic Allstars FC's Felix Kielberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Gadd in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Courtemanche in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Simon Courtemanche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galactic Allstars FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With his leg Gösta Ekegren managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Galactic Allstars FC's Simon Courtemanche fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Galactic Allstars FC booed when Sydkoster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Gadd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Öman charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roy Öman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Galactic Allstars FC's Kristian Mook slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gösta Ekegren. That made the score 4-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Courtemanche to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Courtemanche in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Ekegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Simon Courtemanche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sydkoster's zone, Joachim Göransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Ekegren came out of the goal and Joachim Göransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Göransson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gösta Ekegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Sydkoster getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lucas Ekström hit a great ball. Gösta Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Barco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
