After 27 minutes, Bertil Ahlbom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gyllne Hammarn FC and the Majorna BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gyllne Hammarn FC's Ian Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Burman in the 28th minute of play. Måns Bokelund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Broman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sven-Åke Björk hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Måns Bokelund struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Gyllne Hammarn FC got a corner. Majorna BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Måns Vennersten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Gyllne Hammarn FC's Måns Vennersten to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Broman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gösta Björling was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Broman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Björling in the 55th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Gyllne Hammarn FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Björkkvist. Thomas Broman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Björling in the 58th minute of the match. Tobias Salkvist got a throw-in 61 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Osvald Björkkvist. In the 62ndth minute of the game Måns Bokelund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majorna BK's Thomas Broman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Gösta Björling notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Majorna BK's Thomas Broman. Thomas Broman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 91st minute, Tobias Salkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
