The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cícero Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11 minutes, Carl Linquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gyllne Hammarn FC and the Salem Gunners BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Carl Linquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gyllne Hammarn FC's Ian Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Gyllne Hammarn FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Gyllne Hammarn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Teles came free, but Ian Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prodromos Britzolidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Emil Uggla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salem Gunners BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyllne Hammarn FC the free kick. After 26 played minutes Salem Gunners BK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Uggla. In the 30thth minute of the game Cícero Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gyllne Hammarn FC's Ian Vidman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Svante Gustafsson hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gyllne Hammarn FC's Ian Vidman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Gyllne Hammarn FC from getting a goal against them. Gyllne Hammarn FC's Ian Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Teles in the 37th minute of play. Prodromos Britzolidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Måns Bokelund in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th minute Måns Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prodromos Britzolidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Måns Bokelund made the kick off in the second half. If Måns Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Gustafsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carl Linquist was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Salem Gunners BK booed when Gyllne Hammarn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Salem Gunners BK's Viggo Berggren got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Cícero Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cícero Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Vidman was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes Salem Gunners BK got a freekick which was hit by Bo Sundén. In the 76th minute Cícero Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Vidman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Salem Gunners BK's Cícero Teles shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 87th minute Bo Sundén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ian Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viggo Berggren struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ian Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salem Gunners BK. 92 minutes into the match, Gyllne Hammarn FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Teles came free, but Ian Vidman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salem Gunners BK's Cícero Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salem Gunners BK fully deserved thier win.
