In the 9th minute Sven-Åke Näver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rikard Wolff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Beckeman's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Vicco Oolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Wolff having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Giöck got free with Håkan Törnqvist in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Gadd in the 18th minute of play forced Åshöjdens BK's goalkeeper Rikard Wolff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håkan Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Västlund in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sydkoster's Vicco Oolo got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Vicco Oolo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rikard Wolff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicco Oolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Håkan Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixten Dahlberg in the 31st minute of play. If Lucas Västlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Åshöjdens BK's Sven-Åke Näver got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Åshöjdens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Vicco Oolo came free, but Rikard Wolff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ralf Gadd came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sydkoster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Gadd couldn't finish the play. After the first half Sydkoster were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Sixten Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. Håkan Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Västlund in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Sydkoster's goal looked a bit too open when Sixten Dahlberg came free, but Håkan Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydkoster's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Petter Larsson in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Sydkoster's corner Petter Larsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rikard Wolff quite easily take care of the ball. Håkan Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Giöck in the 66th minute of the match. Georg Sandström's late challenge caught a Åshöjdens BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Sandström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Sydkoster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Sandström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Västlund in the 78th minute of play forced Sydkoster's goalkeeper Håkan Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Giöck in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Törnqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 played minutes, Sydkoster's Inge Skröder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rikard Wolff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sydkoster reached it. Vicco Oolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Rikard Wolff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Håkan Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Västlund in the 89th minute of the match. After having played for 90 minutes, Ralf Gadd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sydkoster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Gadd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Vicco Oolo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rikard Wolff, 0-2.
