Spectators: 7676 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 150) Ralf Gadd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Borrby RK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Vicco Oolo scored to the left of an out of position Alvise Ascoli, making the score, 1-0. After 9 minutes, Tomas Hedlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borrby RK and the Sydkoster players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, one of Borrby RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borrby RK. The goalkeeper, Alvise Ascoli, was totally fooled by Sydkoster's Petter Larsson, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 14 played minutes Sydkoster got a freekick which was hit by Inge Skröder. 15 minutes into the match, Borrby RK's Tomas Hedlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Håkan Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sydkoster's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Hedlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Borrby RK's players had a chance to rest. Tomas Hedlund made a great header on Borrby RK's corner, it was just that Sydkoster's Håkan Törnqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Sydkoster getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas Ekström hit a great ball. Håkan Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Magnus Ekström in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sydkoster's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Hedlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Borrby RK's players had a chance to rest. Victor Beckeman came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvise Ascoli could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Lidström in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Törnqvist saved Sydkoster from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Vicco Oolo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfred Lidström to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Tomas Hedlund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sydkoster's Håkan Törnqvist did a great save. Borrby RK were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Sydkoster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Hedlund took the corner. After taking down the ball on Borrby RK's corner Karl-Ove Ambjörnsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Håkan Törnqvist quite easily take care of the ball. If Vicco Oolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute, Alfred Lidström made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Törnqvist. Sydkoster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 68 minutes into the match, Sydkoster's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Lidström came free, but Håkan Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Borrby RK's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Gadd came free, but Alvise Ascoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvise Ascoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Gadd, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alvise Ascoli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Vicco Oolo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvise Ascoli was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Gadd in the 83rd minute of play forced Borrby RK's goalkeeper Alvise Ascoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Ove Ambjörnsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 85th playminute. Ralf Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91stth minute of the game Vicco Oolo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borrby RK's Alvise Ascoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sydkoster's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
