Ramiro Rossi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Svante Smitt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Bryngelsson in the 6th minute of play forced Örebro SK's goalkeeper Ramiro Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Kent Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Rossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Herbert Nyberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakob Odman was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the match, Örebro SK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Rosendahl came free, but Ramiro Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gnaget Red Wings fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Jakob Odman had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Herbert Nyberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Roger Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

If Herbert Nyberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56thth minute of the game Herbert Nyberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnaget Red Wings's Jakob Odman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jakob Odman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Nyberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Örebro SK were awarded a corner. Herbert Nyberg went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Waldemar Jaruzelski managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Nyberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jakob Odman. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. In the 76th minute Herbert Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Odman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Herbert Nyberg took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jakob Odman to make any attempt to save it. Gnaget Red Wings made a substitution. Jonatan Telin replaced Svante Smitt. Gnaget Red Wings's Aaron Josefsson was substituted for Ingvar Asmundsson. Jakob Odman made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Svante Lönnroth sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Herbert Nyberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakob Odman was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Örebro SK's Ramiro Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Rosendahl in the 86th minute of play. Svante Lönnroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Jakob Odman made a huge save. Herbert Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jakob Odman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Örebro SK's Ramiro Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Rosendahl in the 94th minute of play. The Örebro SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
