In the 2nd match minute, Göta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Grelsson to maneuver through the defense. Edwin Bruhn's late challenge caught a Göta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edwin Bruhn helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Where My Dogs At's Edwin Bruhn got a free kick in the 6th minute. Sixten Johansson made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sebastian Qvarnström sent off a good shot on target. Leif Gerdberg hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sebastian Qvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sixten Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixten Johansson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Göta FC's Sebastian Qvarnström. But to his dismay, Sebastian Qvarnström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sixten Johansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herman Wallengren went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Sixten Johansson was a little too slow when Peder Rönn got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 5-0. Sixten Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Sjögren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Magnus Grelsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sixten Johansson. That made the score 6-0 in the 37 minute of play. The Where My Dogs At fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixten Johansson should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edwin Bruhn to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Joachim Sjögren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixten Johansson. Where My Dogs At's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joachim Sjögren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Herman Wallengren sped through Where My Dogs At's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sixten Johansson. After 73 minutes of play, Göta FC's Magnus Grelsson made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixten Johansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixten Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Sjögren in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Göta FC's Magnus Grelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixten Johansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. The audience was convinced that Herman Wallengren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Johansson was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Sixten Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Qvarnström's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Sixten Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Grelsson in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Joachim Sjögren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Sjögren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixten Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Magnus Grelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixten Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. Göta FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
